tanzania has great potential but they are yet to make use of their resources. they have to take care of basics first before thinking of becoming the economic giants in EA. First electricity is a problem secondly they are not encouraging foreign investors for example accessing land in tanzania is next to impossible they are suspicious of all foreigners.

It's only funny until one day we see the Tanzanian economy zoom past. The joke will be on us.

What is taking them so long. Tanzania has enough to be ahead of kenya. They should have done that yesterday

What the economists forgot to say; (1) Tanzania has to go through all the cycles Kenya has gone through including 20 years of super corruption and cronysm and a new constitution (2) The researchers assume that kenya has nothing underneath the surface in form of minerals (3) The human resource capacity in Tz has to catch up extremely fast with the rest of East Africa (4) Many of the businesses in Tanzania are actually owned by Kenyans meaning that it wont matter how big the economy is as the moolah ends up somewhere in Kanyenyaini

Tanazania has gold, natural gas, diamonds, uranium, rubies, titanium, some say uranium, and lots of water.

But they don't have brains.

Kenya's economy is not well managed, with the current leadership vision 2030 is a dream.
