i can see the share was trading at 1800 feom january to august 2011 only for it to surge post Tsh 2,000 each in September. this was probably because of the IPO, what does that portray?

Tanzanians took up 55.24 per cent of the 59 million TBL shares that were on offer, foreign investors were allocated 44.72 per cent of the shares, while East African investors got a paltry 0.04 per cent of the shares.

The share issue was oversubscribed by more than three times, having received applications from 2,081 investors

Foreign investors applied for 111.85 million shares but were only allocated 32.58 million while Tanzania nationals got the 32.58 million shares they applied for. East African investors only applied for 23,600 shares and were allocated everything they applied for.
