It is also possible that even KAA does not have title that includes all the land that was acquired by the Govt. Just a thought on this we were all originally "landless" and when as citizens we require a permanent place to stay on un occupied land we apply to the government for allocation of the land and get a tittle deed. So in a sense all the land belongs to the government. Therefore even though the Govt may have bought the land in 1982 (also possible the money was allocated but not paid out ), the govt allocated the land to a new set of individuals in 1996.The same Govt was not aware there was a plan for the land and more so they did not know they needed to pay land rates to Mavoko. The issuance of title deeds provides legitimacy and legality in my view.So Govt must compensate... The fact that the Govt did not enforce the redesigned border after allocation means that the land is correctly in Mavoko althoug it can belong to KAA. If you knew that candlelight is fire then the meal was cooked a long time ago.

Pelting motorists with stones is totally wrong and unjustified and they should a find better ways of solving issues. Now when you (mlolongo residents) break/smash a guys windscreen heading to Mombasa for a weekend holiday..really does that stop the demolitions. Its utterly preposterous and shame on you.
