I'd suggest to anyone with a white Toyota,park it somewhere and hire/borrow/buy use a European car,esp one with a complicated gear system like a VW Golf or Mercedes - you are less likely to get jacked and if you do,they will take forever figuring out that gear one is actually reverse and gear five is three. Failing that,put a bottle of water,some biscuits and a spare cell phone hidden in the boot for you might occupy it at some point.
