That AJZ article is typical of the pure cowardice that I've seen from a good number op/ed pieces regarding this effort to secure Kenya's borders. If Al and Bob, the run down, terrorist street-rat thugs with guns can put this much fear into people, imagine the terror that an organized networked "terrorist army" could inflict on the scared, feeble, weak people that seem to think that letting the terrorists win is an option. IT'S NOT AN OPTION. Left alone, terrorist networks grow, organize, and spread. Al and Bob MUST be cut off at the knees and the neck NOW.

Cowards always loose, as they are unwilling to fight. Cowards have their opinions- they want to talk and make a "deal" with these devils. But there is no level of compliance, agreement, or surrender that will appease a terrorist. Terror is their JOB.

Then there are the prideful, that think because their "advanced" technologies and armies couldn't contain Al and Bob, that Kenya cannot either. I say those that failed lacked the will and lacked the commitment.

Al and Bob must be destroyed for there to be continuing peace and stability in East Africa, before this virus called Al-Shebaab spreads like the diseased plague that it is.

Kenya will prevail.

Best,

Hill

He's a very meddlesome character, this Aferwoki fellow. Kenyan special forces should just destroy the Baidoa runway so that no planes land there again

But wont they need the runway for their own purposes after taking it over?

yes you are right, I stand coLLected - even to allow for humanitarian flights. But they have air supremacy so that should take care of hostile flights.

Kenya and TFG forces operating from west central, southern and bigger parts of south somali coast. Uganda/Burundi/TFG in Mogadishu and 'US' flying missiles from drones and indian ocean.

Likely were sea-launched Cruise Missile(s).
Or guided missiles from Reaper drones (unlikely given the payload which must have been huge to cause such a massive explosion).
And the fireworks were not at Afmadow, but Mogadishu.

Shhh, naskia hata Kenya inataka ku get drone (a spy one, not armed).

Hata watu wapige domo aje, these guys do a 'massive' job. They brought a whole 'Track it' company to the ground and unearthed so many car theft syndicates...Kudos to you guys.

Believed to have been killed. Alshabaab are preventing every skull from entering the area of the drone attack
