Sad tale. But remember this is a single story and there is always the danger of a single story.
We should deal with these cases on a case by case basis.
@Spendthrift, if you check what the Facebook group is doing, it is just that. Treating it as a one off case, and being civil about it. Whereas the drivers take personal responsibility, just like company drivers, the organizations they represent should also take responsibility. In any case, the truth is that these red plates have harassed many of us on the roads, its just that we do not quite speak or act and in this case it was extreme. That said, this is one case being dealt with as that. One case. @Guka, I think the PM's email would be helpful in this case. The embassy collected the information but has not acted on anything else. And so you think emailing the Canadian PM will help. How about emailing your own PM to alert him of the misdemeanours of your fellow citizens?

Make note of the time, place, date etc. Even pictures of the act can be useful.
Enough embarrassment raised can cause action.

True. Would play a small part in deterring future potential offenders. Embarrassment cost the Naija ambassador his posting in Kenya though he might have been innocent. Majority of Canadians are good peoples and might not want to keep incountry someone attracting unnecessary negative publicity. There is nothing in for me and I'm sure this is pretty clear to you. What I would say instead is that the aggrieved person, not the persons who have read this on facebook should contact the police and report. Did they expect action from an embassy security staff? In fact there is a diplomatic police unit within the Kenya police ( check the Kenya Police website for contacts) which can be reached if no response is reached. Do national of other countries where Kenyans have moved to write to our high offiices when the Kenyans are involved in traffic or other offences. Unless you can prove that the behaviour of one employee is orgnaisational policy, writing to the PM is an overkill. And in my very honest opinion, Ms Kenya's claim that red plated cars are driven abbrasively is false. In most cases, defensive (mwenye nguvu mpishe) driving skills are employed.

@MsKenya, After reading what Robert went through, let me be honest.I am a man and i have the right to defend my dignity, that of my wife and kids.I would do one honourable thing and a big favour.Get a gun and hunt that b*tch and KILL HER. So... On Sunday I took a drive to the Nairobi National Park. At the gate, I bumped into an 18 CD dude, complete with wife and child/children -plus the obligatory SUV (No, not Robert Macharia's wife's attacker). Anyway, as I was walking to my car, I stopped, turned around and decided to engage the dude. I went back to him and asked him politely -"Excuse me, are you driving the 18 CD that's parked over there?" -He replied, Yes. I was like, "Are you by any chance Canadian?" -With a big smile, the dude replied with an Emphatic "Yes" ... I then smiled and asked -"So, you are the people who think it is in order to crash into our wives and children?" .... I left him hugely embarrassed, face red ... I hope he went back and advised his wife not to prang any Africans .. ...I dont get it here...Age is catching with me pretty fast...Call it senility... @Guka explain please

@Spend-thrift, If you have read and understood the article, all that you are asking for has been done yet there has been no action (The way i understand it,a simple apology from that bi*ch would have sufficed)......Two,someone hits your car, backs up and hits the car again and then zooms off,is that a traffic offence as you put it?....If you ask me,this borders on racism, colour or both. This,my friend,is unacceptable and it warrants the attention of everybody, including the Canadian PM. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

@Njung'e we are being too diplomatic to 'uncouth diplomats' here. Respectfuly @Spend.thrift, your sentiments are quite level headed particularly because your wife was not the one in the car.
If you were Kenya's ambassador to Canada (let alone ambassadorial staff) and you were so careless towards a Canadian citizen, you would have already been sent home!
I would sue the Ambassador and Canadian Embassy under a certificate of urgency for damage to car, and violation of peace of mind. Even finding whether it is possible to have another case filed in the efficient Canadian courts.
