Mutual funds are for those either without financial education, or those who are too busy to read the markets and take action themselves. Whichever way you look at it, the real winners in mutual funds are the mutual funds companies. At best, mutual funds ensure that you are balance enough in the sense that if one stock is performing badly, the other may be doing ok; end game result: you either lose or at best remain stagnant.
