Hi Guys,
I am looking for a diesel standby generator.

Have seen some from LD ( Laidong Diesel ). These are made in China. They have

- Closed canopy
- Silent operation
- Look well made and finished

Prices are

- 10 Kva 490K
- 15 Kva 620K

These prices are about 60% of similar gensets from the west.

Would appreciate any advise. Anyone with any experience with these or similar from China

I have worked for a multinational that is involved in manufacture of the same machines. They are european. However, they have factories in places like china and india. I will not mention names here. However, from customer feedback, gens made from the 2 places have been good. Sos, dont fear to deal with the western companies. Just find out if they can source the products for you from their product companies in either of the two countries mentioned. Other option is for you to actually travel outside of the country to any of this places and do a direct purchase.
