Pump should be connected to ground level storage tank and not directly after the water meter, thats illegal as it interferes with the NWSC water pressure

Chaka*..

true....

but is not illegal....

it is an activity sanctioned against.....

for the reasons given earlier....

nothing stops you from building a reservoir and pumping from there...

If it is illegal to pump it directly from the meter, what happens when you are caught?

sanction pressure develops, thereby denying the 'downstream' customers from getting the water unless your demand is met or there is power failure.

if caught,a fine of 30k( formerly)...dont know the new charges..and/or being imprisoned is what u should face. however,in thgis kenya of ours, does it ever happen?

@bebeto.........Sanction is for United Natios Security Council; while Suction is for drinking coke using a straw.

Which one do u mean?Do kanjo have power to sanction my water pump?

Is there like a minimum capacity ground level tank that one can install or any tank is acceptable if you want to instal a pump.
