Which paediatrician can you recommend and where is he/she located,depending on your exeprience with them?

Been using Dr. Mpaata @Nairobi Hospital and she is good.

Some deals are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

Dr. Githang'a,also at Nairobi Hops doctor's plaza. He is good and is not quick to give drugs. Funny guy as well..

Been paying 1,200/= but got a letter last month for an increase to 1,500/= which is still ok.

I used Dr. Nyambura Kariuki when my son was little till age 3 or so. She is a good doctor. just that she got too busy and the queues got too long and couldnt keep the time she gives you for appointment and i hate waiting.... that was the only reason i stopped using her... but otherwise,she is good doctor and i understand she has some assisting doctors too...

hey,have remembered something else - she loves antibiotics!!!! any small cough,you carry those strong anti-biotics home. I remember one time I had to make her change the antibiotic she had prescribed to a lesser one and infact told her not to prescribe Zinnat for my kid again... At the time,Zinnat had been banned from the western world markets coz of complications and she had insisted that i get it for my son.

Prof. Ezekiel Wafula
Doctor's Plaza,Kenyatta Hospital.
I've tried other paeds and paid a lot for consultation but try none to me has come close to Ezekiel.

The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best time is now.

Dr. Nyambura Kariuki is okey,when i broke my jaw en my physician Dr. kahugu wasnt around i was sent to her en she treated me like a baby....

Dr Nyambura Kariuki is a very good doc. My child had ENT complications and i was not disappointed by her services. BUT the qeues are so long you will not like it. Try her services

Stock Kenya,the place to be!

I have been to both Dr Nyambura and Dr Githang'a. Nyambura is extremely busy and more often than not,you will be seen by other DRs in her clinic. I will recommend Githanga any time. Slow to give drugs,twice I have taken our sons to his clinic and left without drugs. He also gives you as much info as possible on the illness. He charges 2k consultation but its worth every cent.

try Dr. Charles Wanyoike at lyrics house...........he's an old man who loves kids very much.....never heard any complaint about him

Prof. Wafula is also a gem........met encountered him at the aga khan and he was very thorough.

If you have money that you expect to start using in five years,it now belongs in stocks.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

I have used Dr. Zippora Gatheru for many years.....have referred lots of people to her and they all seem to settle after they find her.. she at Upper Hill Medical centre,4th fl.

Funny a friend's son was admitted at Nbi during April holidays and Dr Nyambura was the insurance assigned doc. My friend had to force Dr Nyambura to release the child on the forth day....

It been a while for me (yes I am THAT old) but I remember a Dr Muhudhia who had a clinic in Hurlingham - where they are now putting up the new building next to Nyaku Hse.

I will second Prof. Ezekiel Wafula at KNH Doctors Plaza. Based on numerous experiences with so-called ped,I now believe he is probably the best ped in the country.
