What this 'voice of reason' User n his brother drunkard dont realize is that SUMMARY EXECUTION is a crime against humanity, that is sth even an average brain is aware of. I wish u knew how dumb u two sound, bt we r used to it I guess. Acquaint yourselves with Geneva conventions and the two additional protocols.

You remind me looking at pray photos of Ocampo 6 during those prayer sessions before they let for ICC, the communities were so dedicated praying for God to guide the six and disregarded the victims.

I would have loved to see Gaddafi face trial and I think it was wrong to execute him but that doesn't make him a victim at all, the victims are the people of Libya and to Gadaffi, sorry that he was executed but other than that he is better dead than alife.

At least Gadaffi had sorted out the basic problems that face a third world country. Now with this invasion, expect Libya to fall into the third-world trap, joining the majority of Africa in the 'begging class.'

Yep. Libya will now be a 'truly' African country. Minus the negroes of course, as they were either killed/chased away when Gadaffi fell

It would be nice if someone posted unbiased links showing how Gaddafi was a dictator, what he did to deserve to be killed, all the bad things he did. In my opinion, all this is ...just mob mentality resultant from hearsay or propaganda.

How else did he keep power for over 40yrs? You can only do that by dictatorship or money like Omar Bongo.

I think we are guilty of fronting extreme views. Gaddafi has helped oil rich nations attain favourable prices for their product. He has been the voice of anti-imperialism in Africa and the Arab World. He has been a friend to African nationalist movements like the ANC. Libya under Gaddafi was a true African powerhouse. Economically, Libya is light years ahead of us with better roads, health care and even piped water. His efforts at strengthening AU and African economic independence must not be forgotten. On the other hand we have all those reports of political oppression

Also, Gaddafi is accused of wanting to lord over the AU. He also has sponsored rebels all over africa. He was a crazy, unpredictable guy. I celebrate his good side as I rue the invasion by NATO.

Sadly, the perverts at NATO rule the World. Do we now wait for Ugandan invasion over their decision to impose a death penalty on homosexuals.

Calling Gaddaffi a hero is very scary indeed. He called his people rats and he was found in a rat hole. That's all that matters now. Saddam did the same and was found in a hole. We still have some people who call PEV planners "heros", they too may find themselves in a hole.

Heros are self evident. No need to call them that. Like Prof. Maathai.

The people who are crying about what is happening in the North are just scared. Wondering which of the Southern States is next.

Gaddaffi and his ilk remind me of all these old geezers in gov't who would rather die than resign.

Only Moi saw the light and as you can see, we are paying him for being wise.

The times "are a changing". You can blame the west all you want. But if your people don't want you, you will be dragged in the streets of your country like a rat and Wazuans will call you a hero.

I too thought like that once upon a time. But let us not mix issues. I will not call PEV suspects as heroes. True, Gaddaffi may not have shown prudence calling some Libyans rats or killing some of them. But is that really what he is being accused of?

Lets ask our selves the base question, how many people all over the world have NATO and European governments killed over the years? Are the numbers comparable to Gadaffis' numbers? Between them and Gadaffi, who has killed the most? Who is the more evil?

I gave my opinion here that there is nothing we can do about them. They always get what they want. When they are done with dictators, terrorists & Islam and they are now placable, guess who they will be turning to.

This guy was an African Hero but we were made to believe otherwise by the West. Why haven't they invaded Zimbabwe or Iran, all we keep hearing is that he was a dictator but does that justify the invasion. RIP Colonel!
