I wouldn't gauge the stock primarily on the foreigners selling or purchasing. A few years ago Acess was the darling of foreigners. See where it is.
KCB is a real gem at current prices and when foreigners sell, it is an opportunity for us to pick the shares.

KCB is going nowhere just wait for it at 12-13/= when we gave cash for the rights and they used it to retire "expensive" deposits only to have a liquidity crunch this year i just gave up on them. with all the unsecured loans things are bad for them

Be specific Omera. Which KCB? KE, UG, TZ, S.S or RW
if it is KCB(U) the base rate is at 19% effected in June. Industry wide pretty much.

12 on kcb must hold ...i think in this market you just have to play contrarian and all will be well...

Anyway, haven't the US & Europe established that a near zero interest rate regime does not gaurantee mass uptake & investment. I know Kenyans who deposit 30-40K in Java per month. Such pple don't have to be rocket scientists to know what to prioritize

That's more like it. Got similar news from Ecobank Kenya n they have it at 19% too. Member would have half its book rotten if we talked defaults
