Plans to Scrap Relegation and Promotion in the EPL

Foreign owners - especially American and Asian - want to scrap relegation and promotion in the EPL. This would make their investment safer while ruining football for the rest of us! And it is not far fetched. In America they have no relegation/promotion!!!

The Rao family would be the first ones to vote for such a move seeing that their team - Blackburn - is at the bottom of the table.

14 teams would need to vote for such a resolution. Seeing that more than 10 of the teams in the EPL are foreign owned, this threat is very real!!!

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Hawawesmek! There's no way Premier League and FA can allow the competitive nature of the game to go like that. Like what one English owner said, these foreigners just want a cosy arrangement to make money.

It confirms what our good don Prof. Arsene Wenger has been telling the world that indeed money is driving football in Europe and will eventually bring the good game to its knees once the economic crisis hits in/on the pitch.

That is one crazy idea but @Burning Spear Money is messing/ will mess the good English game! where will the competition come? what would motivate my beloved arsenal try to climb from position 17 to 10 smile they should start their own money bag league somewhere that will not have relegation!!!
