It's a draw at Anfield: Liverpool 1 : 1 United......priceless point away from home in a game that SAF I think goofed with his lineup!!!!

De Gea has now won my trust, I am liking this Smalling boy, in other news in the lifetime of Phil Jones, Liverpool has never won the league!!!

I'm happy that we finally halted the recent pathetic performances and losing streak to Liverpool. It was a precious point. Wapi De Gea critics? Njung'e? Taz? Point blank saves!!! The kid is good. United have a bright future at the helm!

@ Jus Blazin...If you look at my previous posts on De Gea my point has always been that he's not a bad keeper but not as good as you would want us to believe....bado ako mbali kiasi. I don't blame you anyway you are a Man Utd fan so i expect you get excited with any good save he makes. Anyway he had a good a good game against Liverpool, really good saves.

Unfortunately we didn't improve our goal difference but i'm glad we got all three points.

@ Mc Reggae... this week i got 55 points in Barclays Fantasy league, the highest had 66 pts.

Trust @TAZ to come up with an explanation on De Gea. That boy is fantastic. And his confidence is through the roof. His saves, especially in the dying minutes of the game were fantastic. His reflexes are on point! He has now faced City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Bolton. I say his EPL acclimatization is complete! Kweli ama rongo?

I got all of the results correct other than the small matter of figures and err ars-en-al smile

My beloved United need now to turn up the gear till boxing day to remain favourites regardless of what other teams do

@ Maichblack.....Szczesny makes point blank saves in almost all matches but that doesn't stop the likes of Mwenza from criticizing our keeper. So far in i've been so impressed by Stoke's Begovic (25) and Bayern's Manuel Neuer (26) who now has gone almost 1,000 minutes without conceeding a goal. De Gea is no different from some Keepers in the League lakini because he's United Keeper you think he's the best...make a point of watching other keepers not just yours and Arsenal's.

12 pts behind Man City....We will catch up with the rest soon enough, hopefully in January after we buy players because if we improve now Wenger will never buy. 3 points are important for anyone at this point.

Got the Arsenal Sunderland and Newcastle Spurs prediction to the point...am quietly pleased with myselfsmile

In all honesty, the Liverpool Man Utd game is the worst game I have seen all season - until Gerrard scored when Giggs could have just turned his back for the ball to hit the wall!Very pedestrian.

I have not seen worse football this season, mostly from Man Utd but even from Liverpool - English football at it's best. Even Bundesliga does not produce such drab affairs when the bottom teams are playing.

It is obvious that Phil Jones cannot play defensive midfield, I thought he could but no. Even Smalling, whom someone has said impressed him, had the worst passes in the first half (maybe it's coz he's just coming back from injury) but was very good in keeping the RACIST Suarez quiet...

De Gea = Man Of The Match. I've always said that Evra makes some of the worst blunders in the game that seem to go unnoticed, Kuyt should have never gotten that ball that demanded a point blank save from De Gea...

When I saw the lineup I though to myself, Fergie is underestimating the Kop...but as time went I remembered we're travelling to Romania on Tue/Wed and require all 3 points. I really believe we'd have made a light meal of Liverpool had we played Rooney, Nani and Chicharito from the start - but a point at Anfield will do. I was very disappointed by the way the team played in the 1st half - we'll be whipped in the CL with that sort of play.

I don't mind that City are ahead, I prefer when we're chasing up to Dec and then we take over and there's no catching us. That said, we must beat Man City this coming Sunday just to remind them that there's really only one team in Manchester!!!

So far so good, drawn away to difficult sides (Stoke and Liverpool) so can't complain.

As for the other matches, well what stood out for me is the way Newcastle have been going about their business with quiet confidence, I hope they maintain all the way to end so that we have more teams competing for 4th place.

As for Manuel Neuer, if only he had come to Man Utd. But David De Gea is proving himself and we cannot ask for more. 20 years old. A good minimum of 10 years to give.

In other news,Levante is joint top with Barca after 7 games.

At least Arsenal won and maybe now that mean coach and board know the value of RVP.
They need to renew his contract asap and add him more money.
Come January we need to buy more players then everything will be back to normal.

I can't decide which is better - the point blank save from Woscie to deny Sunderland a second or the one from De Gea to deny Kuyt a Liverpool winner - absolutely top notch from both goalies.

Good to see Arsenal moving up the table, we need at least 4 teams fighting at the top or thereabouts (with the top 3)to make the league as interesting and nail biting as possible...but bado wako mbali kidogo in terms of finishing off teams.

Chelsea are also going about their business quite clinically, opposition notwithstanding. AS for Man City, I'll judge exactly how good they are when we play them next Sunday...I just hope Cleverly has been training and will be back becaise our mid is non-existent, I really wonder who we can buy in January because that mid is WANTIIIING!!!!
