Seems a long shot!

I doubt he will hurt Railas chances in any way.

Of course Railas bid is continualy suffering blow after blow on other fronts.

Today for instance Kajiado Central MP, Nkaserei was on TV castigating ODM and hinting of his imminent departure.

Tuju may be an attractive running mate though!

...Asi! Never! Kwani haujui mambo ya ukabila in Kenya! He does that and he kisses the presidency goodbye...RAOs running mate has either got to be from Ukuyu or Ukamba...Not even Western if he has to make it...
...And who advised Tuju? Miguna Miguna?...two losers
...And Tuju borrowed Obama's teleprompter...Wacha nicheke!!!

Tuju has been receiving a salary as kibaki‘s advisor since 2008. Incase he is candidate, then for sure we know who exacly are the boys that will be pulling strings.
I have no problem with him personally.

I see Tujus candidacy in 2 possibilities. First, it could be that he is a G7 sub-project as alleged. Just to weaken Agwambo @ home. But for a man who got 7k votes only in Rarieda I doubt this is his reason for running. Even if it is, it isnt the main one. The main reason, which could be the main one, is the fact that Luo Nyanza lacks a successor to Raila. The guy is ageing. He misses the big seat this time he will be 72 in 2017. Fatigue factor may set in among supporters. If RAO wins, his path to political retirement begins. Someone has to inherit that loyal constituency. But he wont be alone. Orengo and Nyongo will want it too.

And yes, he makes a very attractive running mate. For Karua, Kalonzo, PK Mutava or even Mwakwere. Too bad he will not bring in any predefined constituency...btw, kwani ODM ni Raila tu anataka urais?

Tuju's bid may end up being very similar to Uhuru's bid in 2002.

Uhuru was from the main opposition leader's backyard and was chosen to take on the NAK leader.

Tuju is from Raila's backyard and may just be chosen as a compromise candidate for the PNU Alliance.

I just listened to this guy on Hope FM and he sounds really inspiring. He has a clear plan and sounds like he has the drive to lead this country.

I do not like however his emphasis on the youth. There is no such constituency as the youth-if at all it does exist it must be very small. It's just like talking about a women's constituency.

For Tuju to win, he has to win the backing of PNU or form a coalition with similar 'clean' candidates like PK. Any other way will be a cropper.

I am watching him...
