It's been a whole year since ANY team left Old Trafford WITHOUT LOOSING!!! I guess the media has not noticed that!!! As a Man United fan, this is a record I am proud of! Never mind we are breaking records every week nowadays to an extent even die hard Man United fans can't keep up! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Two billionaires in the top ten list have a stake in Arsenal FC plus the club keeps posting profits year after year. What i don't get is why they (wenger and the board) keep telling fans that they cannot compete with the other top teams in terms of Players wages.

Actually, the amount is even higher according to Fobes magazine. He is 35th richest whole world. But unfortunately,he holds minority in Arsenal. see below; "Alisher Burkhanovich Usmanov (born 9 September 1953, Chust, Namangan Province, Uzbek SSR, USSR) is an Uzbek-born Russian businessman. According to the 2011 edition of Forbes magazine, the oligarch is one of Russia's richest men, with a fortune estimated at US$17.7 billion, and the world's 35th richest person." I agree with @TAZ on this one. I am on recording saying what Arsenal and EPL needs is Usmanov as the main shareholder in Arsenal. He is passionate about the game, understands what ails Arsenal and is energized enough to tackle all the issues. We can make fun of Arsenal but that gets old and tired very fast. What we need is a strong Arsenal [and other teams]. That is what makes this league so exciting. You want to watch matches on the edge of your seat, almost get a heart attack, recollect yourself and look forward to the next weekend! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Pretty rich that coming from a Man U fan. @TAZ Why would you want a Manchester United fan to take over the Arsenal? He who can express in words the ardour of his love, has but little love to express. - Petrach, Son. (That men by various ways arrive at the same end. - Montaigne, The Essays of.)

@ Elder, C'mon the Arsenal board have refused to let this guy in, he even offered more than what Kroenke had but they still rejected his offer....he didn't say he's a Man Utd fan he was just taking a shot at Arsenal's management. If he wasn't interested in Arsenal he would have sold all his shares by now. Look at Lady Nina Bracewell's comments after she was kicked out of the board same thing Usmanov said....shida ni Peter Hillwood, he's just too old and so conservative.

On a light note some of the worlds best footballers among them Rooney, CR7, Owen, Gerrard, Lampard, Ronaldinho, Figo and the magnificent Henry when they were young. Its captivating looking at the innocence then.......have a look http://flixnn.blogspot.c...when-they-were-baby.htmlAccept no one's definition of your life; define your life.

Blessings in disguise: Rooney will not play in most of England's friendly/warm up matches as Capello looks for a formula without him given that he will miss at least one match because of the red card he picked up. Now imagine a fresh Rooney against tired, jet lagged fellows. I don't know how the calendar for the international friendlies looks like but I hope it favours us - big teams after the break = defenders in National teams = tired defenders. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I hate these friendlies...aren't the qualifiers enough on their own? I really hope Vidic and Cleverly will be available for the trip to Anfield, we need to nyamazisha akina Sober comprehensively....we've not won there in the last 3 outings! Smalling will also be a big boost. By the way I think Fergie can play Jones as a defensive midfielder if Vidic and Rio reprise their partnership for last season. A fully fit Wellbeck and Rooney hapo mbele and I will not be surprised mabao zikinyesha BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

As a Man United fan, this is a record I am proud of! Never mind we are breaking records every week nowadays to an extent even die hard Man United fans can't keep up! are you equating a raw to a loss for the visiting team? African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

Every team that visited Old Trafford in the last 12 months for an EPL match lost!!! Only West Brom managed to get a point from Old Trafford after a rare VDS blunder. That was on 16th October 2010. Those were the only points Man United dropped at home. Get it? I can simplify it further. The whole of last season and the current one, EVERY team that has visited old Trafford for an EPL game has LOST [Not drawn], apart from West Brom who got themselves a draw one year ago! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
