I think report should be used by the government to develop strategies to fight the organized criminals . Why is the government releasing the report to the public? How is it supposed to help the public?
I thought the PM is in charge of all ministries - including security so he should have told the public what the government is doing about the issue...

As the late Prof. said, we know what to do, why don't we just do it. If there is anything that Kenya has in the post Moi era, it is information overload. What we need is action.

The American embassy has dismissed claims that it is funding youth groups to destabilise Kenya.
Ambassador Jonathan Gration said the Sh3.6 billion programme was only meant to empower the youth on leadership. (READ: Sh3.6b US bid to edge out old Kenyan leaders)
“We are not doing this because we want to overthrow the government. We are working with young people in both urban and rural areas to help them know what empowerment means,” he said in Nairobi on Tuesday.

The American economy is failing because their envoys concentrate only on politics for so long now. They have been told to change tact and look after economic interest of America by Obama.

This was sent from a copy of a local daily. I thought it was good food for thought.

(For instance, who betrayed his colleagues in the Opposition and the country at large before and after the 2007 General Election? Let’s face the facts.

It was the Raila Odinga group, which in August 2007 shipped out of the original opposition Orange Democratic Movement of Kenya (ODM-K) and proceeded to buy out lawyer Mugambi Imanyara’s ODM that he had registered immediately after the 2005 referendum.

This was after the infamous “Nyundo” incident of Khadija Gardens in Mombasa.

Who then stuck to the original party and ideals and who did a routine political somersault and party hop?

It is noteworthy that five years earlier, Raila had led a similar exodus from Kanu when he realised he was not going to be the party presidential flag bearer.

Kenyans will for long be grateful to Kalonzo for choosing to join President Mwai Kibaki in forming a coalition Government thereby helping to put out the fire that threatened to consume this nation.

When did saving one’s own country from destruction qualify to be an act of betrayal? First, I remember someone saying “No Kivuitu No Elections” and “No Raila No peace”.)

This report is too much porojo without data, I bet the agency making the report is upto something fishy (donor funds). It grosses over figures that do not add up and are grossly generalized.
