Must be social science/ arts students I concur 100% that a fool & his money are soon parted and unfortunately that happens to be affecting a large populous of American households. In the same breath I carry no remorse for the Kenyans who were herding into ponzi schemes and lost their money! Some even quit their jobos btw.

Nabwire wrote:accelriskconsult wrote:Nabwire please note that you are breaking the law. You need to be registered as a advisor to make the kind of post that you have. Additionally, the advice offered to Bee sounds like hunches rather than well researched reasoning behind the stock selections. You need to understand whether bee is a value investor or a day trader. How much does bee have for investing in stocks? Without even going into analysis, it is quite obvious that the USA is going into the second phase of a double dip recession so why would you advice someone to put money in at this time? If I were you, I would be short selling. I hope you know for a fact that I'm breaking the law, if so then it would be bye bye Wazua coz I wouldnt want the Feds knocking on my door over some virtual clients. I will look into it but I doubt it coz there are so many people online giving their investment advice. And furthermore, Bee is not paying me a single cent for this advice!!! Also, she has gone MIA so this blog is really my online diary that I can go back and look at when the market turns around and learn from my mistakes. It looks like you spoke too soon, I already addressed the issue of whether Bee was a day trader or value investor, and the issue of how much she is willing to invest here http://www.wazua.co.ke/f...spx?g=posts&t=10570
Whats with people and trying to knock your hustle, if my advice is hunches, wouldnt it be wise to wait until the market turns so as to prove me wrong? Under what grounds do you term my advice hunches? So show me your well researched advice so we can compare. About double dip recession, again you spoke too soon, soma hapo juu I told her I am waiting till October to see where the wind blows then Im all in. By the way Bee does not have to follow my advice, she can choose to be a bystander like you want her to, and watch the Market zoom past her. So what are you suggesting, that I should wait until the Market is up 20% then give the buy recommendation? Are you thus insinuating that Warren Buffet, who is buying like crazy, is a fool? Just last night he was being interviewed and was asked about his thoughts on BoA purchase which is now lower than the price he bought it at. His response, I dont care, I would rather the price keep going lower so I can buy some more. Wahenga walisema aliye na macho haambiwi tazama ama nunua About short selling, I dont like back door advice, so thankfully you are not me You base your investment decision on what Warren Buffet is doing? Can you afford to keep your money in a losing stock for 50 years? Please note that Buffet is a long term investor who is investing in stocks that he will eventually bequeath the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation (He does not need to sell his stocks for bread and butter). If you have as much moola and time then happy hunting. Please note that I am not an investment adviser and have not tried to be one so there will be no picks from me to compare with yours. All I am saying is that I have been in the market long enough to know when someone is not skilled enough to offer advice on stocks. Again I stand by my position that short selling is the name of the game until 2013.

[/quote] While you may not have malicious intent, you do come off abit pompous in thinking that you know how and when I should use my money. I have not claimed that I am a professional, but I know that I am good at this game! Today I decided to go ahead and speculate since I need some Christmas pocket change, I got in on Eastman Kodak (EK) just for the fun of it since it was trading so cheap. The stock is up 71% for the day , so you can have your opinion about me, in the meantime I will keep making money. By the way you just outed yourself, there is no market that takes 50 years to turn around, not even the great depression! So you keep short selling, I will keep doing what I do best! I just wanna thank the dear Lord for his mercies thus far, please Jesus guide me through amen...

Comrade, which ponzi schemes are these? I actually was in one, but they preferred to call it multilevel marketing, my gosh biggest headache of my life. I put so much effort into it yet lost so much money. But I dont regret it because it was my introduction into the tough businessworld.

The market is down 258, next week Q3 earnings will be reported, almost the entire S&P 500 was red. This is too easy!

The ponzis reffred to were cash pyramids ati ooh put in X amount and in 2 wks U get 50%+ on ur cash. Of course the early birdies made money but the bulk lost. U knw that one of the faces of such a scheme was thrown out a window to his death by angry mob! Wewe!

Msaliti (now why do you have such a name), about Million Dollar portofolio, I do not qualify to play coz a portion of your portofolio has to trade Forex. I dont trade forex and Im not too interested in it either. By the way which major teaches Forex trading? Bcommerce? Cde Ponzi za kuweka cash ofcourse ni outright robbery, but stuff like Mary Kay does work, I think, coz you are selling a genuine product. Question is, are the customers interested? Only in Kenya can you be thrown to your death from your own office, link? The only people who make good money are the ones at the top of the pyramid, if you can figure out who to get to the apex, then you can make it big.

Hey Bee, nice to have you back! Were you able to set up an account with Vanguard? I would advise you to do so lest you miss a buying opportunity since it takes a couple of days for them to set up your banking details.

One thing that amazed me with that idea was the fact that broke looking people were marketing it and they were claiming to have made alot of money from it, some dude was sleeping in Motel 6 and collecting money! Call me crazy Drunkard but as much as I am money hungry, which I admit to be, I fall for real ideas and by the way the easiest ideas are the best ideas. I have personally tried alot of stuff but I know Ponzi when I see it
