There has never been such a ceremony in Kenya - ever!! perhaps you are referring to the one conducted at about 5pm...7 hours BEFORE midnight! Why are you stopping them?...it was once considered a 'late afternoon swearing in' ceremony, it slowly moved up the ladder and became a 'night swearing in' ceremony and now its already a 'midnight swearing in'. if they proceed like this it will be an 'early bird' swearing in ceremony next year and a midday swearing in ceremony by 2013. by 2015 it will have reverted back to the late afternoon swearing in ceremony it once was. Ama Impunity wanted to say that it was midnight somewhere on the globe (perhaps china) The old constitution did not stipulate at what time the president should be sworn in. Am not sure if the current one does. Lord, thank you!

Again it depends on your political affiliation. You choose to see what you want to see  Maybe I choose to also note that he made a distinction between politics and crime and said he has no evidence linking RAO to weapons and the crime? What about not opposing the accusations but merely referring the accuser to some place else? That was not emphatic enough. To go guns blazing against this 'witness' so to show he cannot be relied upon, maybe a gun for hire. He did not. The witness still stands, unwilling though he may be. His offence was good, his defence well..... I hope you understand my marking scheme? No? Again....this is tiring....you insist on seeing what you chose to see Tiring? It is only starting. If @Kratos cannot say 3 good things about Raila, and @YesuWangu 3 good things about Uhuru, then I think both politicians could have more to their mettle than these two biased Wazuans...
How do you expect to show people the truth if you are both laden with bias!

Mass action is allowed in the constitution but people should not misuse it by manipulating the law. What if elections were not rigged, would that not make the mass action a crime? And when mass action turns violent and someone spreads propaganda against a community like (1 against 41, how does kibaki feel to know he has been elected by two tribes only, boycotting business by kikuyus etc )in that charged atmosphere, isnt that creating hatred against a community? SUggesting violence by making statements like "the price of democracy will have to be paid, which is very expensive" Defending arsonists of kiambaa church was justifying and encouraging violence. If mass action leads to ethnic cleansing, does it serve the purpose it is intended? “Invest in yourself. Your career is the engine of your wealth.”

Kenya is nothing compared to any of those conflicts...this is shadow. as kenyans we love to blow things out of proportions. until we experience what Baby Doc did to Haiti, we should be thankful that it ended when it did.
