Think Larry has it plain wrong; highest so far today is 102shs; you can follow the forex trend on this site but must warn you it's like watching a train crash in slow motion, not for the faint-hearted smile

the sovereignity of the shilling must be restored. someone at CBK needs to pack.

Agreed.I am starting to doubt this Ndung'u fellow.All he does is bark and grin as if all is well.Since he was appointed CBK governor,the shilling has drppoed 43% against the dollar.That's not a good record.Sad

HISAH: Ever heard of Mugambe's Zimbabwean dollar ? We need to start using USD in local,kenyan transactions and dump the worthless shilling.

Ensure your portfolio has a significant portion of CASH balance, treasury securities. i would say upwards of 45-65%.
If you have any offshore invst. i would say move into dollar-denominated funds.

Whatever happened to the talk about the Dollar is weak and should be trashed for the Yuan, oh how times change. But then again, talk is cheap.
