Mine was taken over by some hackers (or robots) in Brazil (you can check IP location of last access using Account Security Settings I think ) ...they then proceeded to send spam to bosses and professional colleagues of the "grow your 'dong' by several inches" kind. I was severely embarrassed.

Nope. I use my yahoo address to subscribe to stuff, gmail I use for more serious communications, like side hustles and when the office mail is out. Could have been lifted by a virus.

So i wake up this morning and see an email from an old friend.She is asking what is up..apparently i am selling some 'financial secret' on the net. I realise i have been hit....this god damned hacker even sent emails to prospective business leads....My question...how to prevent,but more importantly how do i cure this menace?Ohh...mine is a hotmail account.
The early worm, is the one caught by the early bird.........

@bendi3, change your email account password pap! it's a well known fact that most people, when prompted to register to a website using an email address, will use the email address' password as the website's password too. Prime hackers hunting grounds. Never make that mistake again.
