confirmation is a near foregone conclusion. the judges have a reputation to keep for pushing the cases to this stage. they can drop utmost 1-2 persons. but as i stated a couple of days ago, i do not see more than 1 person getting convicted after full trial. unless the prosecutor gets off his butt, the evidence is simply bullshit in a full trial. ogambo will not be around for the full trial which is probably good for the prosecution.

So the point is not justice but to get some people out of the way? What makes you think Kenya will have moved on? Moved on from tribal politics ?

Thinking that the country will 'move on' because some folks are on trial is being naive. If Raila is beaten in 2012 and declares mass action, you can be sure everyone will have their panga at the ready. All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.
