Kobil Ethiopia has been awarded a certificate of recognition by Zemen Bank, one of the leading banks in the country, during the bank’s Annual General Meeting held at the Hilton Hotel on Saturday September 17th. The bank placed Kobil Ethiopia as one of it’s the top ten best customers.
According to the bank, Kobil’s recognition is owed to its business size, timely loan repayments and overall credit worthiness as well as having a good relationship with all the officers in the
bank.
The recognition comes at an opportune time when the Company seeks to expand its business operations in the country. Already, the Company is considering using the 4 acre (17,000 square meters) prime piece of land it owns in the heart of Addis Ababa for other economic activities in line with its Non-Fuel business development strategy. Currently, the land houses the Head Office as well as storage facilities.

Assuming the final dividend will be equivalent to interim, we are talking of 12% dividend yield. which other stock gives such returns?

The dividend payout in the last four months @1.09 is almost equal to the return on T-bills but maybe not for much longer.
