The party has threatened not to support the budget unless CDF is doubled. Do they really have our best interests at heart?

I doubt it,given that CDF is rarely well managed. These are just ways of getting free cash.

these guys never had our interest at heart in the first case.

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'
