First and foremost, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome:

Centum Investment Company Limited

And to say Thank You for taking the time to read and contribute to our community.

The next order of business is a question(s) from the diaspora:

What are Centum's plans to engage Kenyans in the diaspora regarding your services? Will there be Centum representation at Kenyan business events held in the US and the UK? Will there be products and services specially designed to allow Kenyans in the diaspora to easily invest, without costly intermediary agencies?

Best,

In the meantime or until Wazua clears the air on your validity, don't feel very much at home yet. These thread is strictly for Investor>>stocks not management and the likes. You seem to have come in through the chimney and into the bedroom.

I believe it would have been better to post this in Talk2us http://www.wazua.co.ke/f....aspx?g=topics&f=26 thread department found in Club SK or somewhere more strategic so that we can monitor you closely incase you eat our children.

Also, call Wazua and tell Madam Administrator to recognize you officially in this forum.

Otherwise, am training my anti-aircraft missile on you until you prove to be friendly platoon.

Are you the Centum (ICDC) company listed on the NSE? If so, I hold a lot your shares, and I mean a lot. But of late, I've been having that sinking feeling, and wondering quietly to myself how much longer I should hold on to them. What can you say to reassure me and others?

This must be a sales representative or marketing executive (they call themselves executive to sound important) or the new tea boy. Centum Investment would not have time to troll the net and solicit investment advice or offer it. The guys are managing over 15 billion and above. If it was Zimele or dye and die, that would be understandable. Ati Muoria has time to follow threads here? Try another catch phrase. Muoria woulld be out playing golf with Mugo Kibati instead of shadow boxing with impunity and 'user' here.

Question 1: What does the name Centum stand for, its meaning, origin, why Centum? Is it a combination of Cent and um?

Question 2: What would be your estimate market price of Centum shares today irrespective of external factors such as foreign investor withdrawal and political climate?

After reading the following from your website, I have some questions:

"The Quoted Private Equity (QPE) business line acquires influential or controlling equity stakes in quoted companies within Sub-Saharan Africa

We leverage our expertise in Private Equity to manage these investments and create value
In addition to marketable securities, QPE also invests in Fixed Income securities as part of its mandate to manage overall company liquidity
The portfolio target return for this business line is 25%".

You have specified your share holding in private equity companies and given the percentage of shareholding. Why have you not done the same with the quoted companies?

I.e, give us a list of shares you still hold that are quoted at the NSE currently. The way you used to state 22% Carbacid, etc.
By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...

I say:

-Good for Wazua to attract this calibre of contributors.
-Good for Wazua to acknowledge and rank Bona-fide.

-Encouraging comments by Members, Veterans, Elders as per stature of Wazua.
-Shy to see some New-farers comments dreaming suspicion in broad daylight.

-Tricky for @Centum_inv who'll soon be inundated with more issues than they can keep up; Twitter folk are softer.
