CBD STALLS AND SHOPS

Fellow wazuanites I would really like some genuine insight in the biasharas done in CBD stalls and shops.

I have heard of and know people who pay hundreds of thousands for good will before even starting the business and in addition rents and license fees etc etc

Most of them say that they recoup the goodwill in a matter of days and others actually burn their fingers.

Who has experience with this kind of business...I have found a small shop going for 20k PM and with no goodwill from the actual landlord not agents,so anyone with advice of a lucrative biashara that can be done in this roughly 10ft by 5ft shop within the CBD near the old KBS stage..

Not everything looks or seems what it's peddled....Some frank advise..keep your hard earned money away from those stalls. The only guys who make money there are the STALL OWNERS...PERIOD.Shame on you Remember the good old wise saying...'All that glitters is not GOLD'.

Ever noted that most of the businesses in the stalls are new? I don't know why.... but layers and layers of brokers make the space very costly and hence high rate of turnover of businesses.
Why would someone require goodwill on a new building?

I agree,most businesses are new.and worse still everybody's doing/selling/franchising..u name it..the same thing. So what happens in the end? Obviously some Sad 'serious' under-cutting price-wise hence low profits. Most quit early to avoid further losses.

But how is it that most of the traders claim to mint money in these establishments and off course some actually quit and "sell" the stalls,anyone who has done any lucrative biashara in these stalls can shed some light..

Have been in it and as some say its not always that glitters is gold. For those saying its all new businesses i defer since i have guys who have been there and expanding their businnesses like wildfire. Am planning to get another one soon since i can see light at the end of tunnel. The only issue is you have to know which items really move on a certain location then you need to know where to get those items at a good cost. Then for you to mint that cash you have to really invest cash. that kipanda should have stock of good cash....500k and above sio ku-stock 20k and expect to get results.
