Hallo Wazuans,
Anybody knows any fixed deposit account in Kenya that can guarantee 7% for 6-12months in 2012?? The banks arent disclosing their interest rates online. I appreciate any leads...thxsmile

Treasury bills at the moment are providing good returns. But if you still want to keep the money in a bank go to Fina Bank or Middle East bank they can give you around 8 percent even if you negotiate well with them.

You must be a current or former staff member. Check with Back of Africa they are very flexible and open for negotiations.

With treasury bills the current interest (next week)is 12.570% for 3 months, so after tax with 1.6M you will make Ksh. 41330.40 after 3 months
