I expected better play from the team playing today...perhaps lack of game time has really affected them. If it pays off on Sunday I'll have no complaints but it's a bit frustrating watching a team that has scored 18 goals in the first 3 league games struggle...well,even if it ain't really the same team. NKT!

I guess a draw away after making 8 changes to the team ahead of the Chelsea game is encouraging on our depth (considering City drew at home with a full strength team) but the lack of free flowing football was annoying. Hope Cleverly comes back sooner than expected.

Berbatov has totally fallen out of favour with Fergie,I feel for him.

Oh well, Chelsea it is. No longer instills the fear it used to days of Mourinho, that tag has been left with Barca now.

8 changes in a difficult away CHAMPIONS LEAGUE game! He chooses this game to give players some game time? And when does Barbatov get to play? He might be patient and playing it cool but this is not fair at all! You choose to rest your players and don't even consider giving last season's EPL top scorer a chance?

Yeah!!! He has broken records today! He has now scored in 16 consecutive Champions League seasons and just became the oldest scorer in Champions League history!

SAF had indicated that he'll go for a more experienced squad for the Benfica match and he did just that.

Generally it wasn't a good show by Man Utd but one positive thing i can say is that you have a very good keeper in Anders Lindegaard.

Man City and Inter might just find themselves playing Thursday night football.

The "experience" earned them the draw...

Today I look forward to see how City will fare against unknown opposition in Napoli but Mancini should have an idea of how they play. Our trip to Benfica can't be easy considering how Benfica disposed off FC Twente,SAF said he'll play the veterans so we'll see how it goes. Hope for a win to boost morale as we look forward to Chelsea at OT...and no injuries

Manshiti will emerge victorious over poor Napoli maybe with 2-0.This is if they pray all the senior lads and Aguero much included.Tevez energy is required at forward. We expect our lost son Nasri to feature.

Manures will draw with Benfica or loose 1-0. This is if they take benfica to a small team.Benfica may look easy to beat but I noticed they are fast in their game and may pull a quick one before half time.

we knew the results before the travel to Benfica.

Man U 4 - 1 FC Basel

There will definitely be a lot of changes in the team and the team SAF picks might affect the scoreline somewhat - but not the result.

I can't wait to see our back four for the game. I just hope we don't end up with Barbatov playing as a central defender Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly .

Damn this injuries! But with FC Basel today, Norwich over the weekend and international break next weekend, we might just get out of this unscathed - without dropping points that is!

I agree @Maich...the injuries could have come at a worse time of the season e.g. December

Berba and Owen better step up - and why not use Macheda if the 2 can't kick up their gears? This is the time when a player takes the bull by the horn becausewhen Rooney and Chicha resume and re-ignite their partnership for last season, watu watachoka matako waki warm bench!

After watching Barca's performance this weekend against a very strong Athletico, am convinced more than ever that we have to buy a creative midfielder in Jan - without taking anything away from Cleverly and Anderson...mambo biad na unfortunately hawatoshi mboga!

A win today and this Sato will ease up the anxiety of the injuries. GGMU!

This united should win easily....the mouthwatering clash will be the one between Bayern and Citeh......citeh loses and a Napoli win (expected) then our noisy neighbours could be staring back at thursday night football!!!

My obvious bias notwithstanding, I dont see Manshitty beating Bayern tonight.

My sentiments exactly. I don't think they are trying hard enough. They are operating like they are assured of the first eleven. When you get these chances you should play like there is no tomorrow. Actually there might not be a tomorrow.

Take Nani for example. With the arrival of Young and return of Valencia, his position was under threat. Many even speculated he might be leaving the club. But what what did the lad do? He upped his game and now it's Valencia who should feel threatened! Young also knew how tough the competition for places was, and when given the chance he never looked back! Habari ndiyo hiyo.

I prefer Man City going on to the knockout stages - the longer they stay they in the Cl the less they are a threat in the EPL. I cannot wait for the Manchester derby and hope for a fully fit Man Utd squad by the time we meet.

Bayern are looking very strong this year - 6 wins in 7 bundesliga matches with a goal difference of 20!Let's see how they perform in real European test but their CL pedigree is unquestionable
