We've all seen these words in adverts for various stuff. What do they really mean?

- seller is desperate and willing to take ANY offer within a short period?
- seller is inviting buyers to exploit them?
- its an auction (distress)?
- seller should not expect to take time to decide and examine particulars?
- seller wants to exhibit some sense of urgency (i.e. you must enquire/buy before this item goes)?

1 - What are Wazuan experiences with "Quick sale" - either as buyers or sellers?

2 - What are the alternatives

3 - Is it really necessary to indicate "quick sale"? Notwithstanding the above, how does that help? Does it really?

What about these:
Lady owner?
Buy me?
Owner flying out?

Does this add value to the seller?

The "Lady Owner" is a bit of a killer. I do not mean to be chauvinistic, rather its a fact that lady drivers are what they are. Esp if its an MV and a manual one at that - I;d be worried the gearbox/engine is shot to hell. having said that, there are good lady drivers - in fact excellent ones. But most that I know, who have driven a manual, have on many occassions taken revs through the roof, or shift so abruptly. they may be careful with the body, but what is beneath it....

"Owner flying out" - I think the subliminal message is that the owner is affluent ergo the item is well cared for or a thing of good quality, etc...

"Buy me" is tolerable...it attracts attention - and if the ad can carry on in the first person, well and good. But perhaps not for a million shilling Merc. Maybe for a puppy or a pair of shoes....

Cars: "mint condition" - does this mean the owner drove it out of the showroom and changed decided to sell it on his way home.

Real estate: "serene" - far far far from civilization?

10 minute drive to CBD.... Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

I don't get that one. Everywhere in Nairobi is 10min drive to CBD at midnight and 3 hr drive to CBD if Bw Mwai decides to take a ride to his town office!! It dies not matter where you stay, South B, Ngong Rd, Utawala, Thika Road...this policy applies.

Insert "Dildo" (as the sale item) before those two lines and it becomes rather hilarious Laughing out loudly
