Dreaming is free.
Allow all to entertain their fancy ideas.
The realists know that there will be two main (serious) contenders, from ODM (or its mutant) and PNU/G7 (or its mutant).
The other so called candidates will be mere distractions - of little consequence.
Having said that, we may want to draw certain distinctions here;
Individuals here may be drumming support for their preferred candidates for their view that they are the best SUITED to lead Kenya.
That is different from asserting that these candidates stand the best chance to win the expected 2012 general elections. You are very right @ B.Timer; this is NOT a discussion of whether Tuju will win or not, but rather one on his SUITABILITY to lead the country.
Many people are not able to distinguish these two issues, thus when you say "X is the best candidate", they hear you saying "X will win".
Many people will refuse to vote for a candidate because they think he/she will not win, even though they think he/she is the most suitable. Nobody wants to side with a loser!
And there lies one of the great deficiencies of the democratic political system.
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
