Magnificent solo run by Abel Kirui to retain his world title and win the seventh Gold medal for Kenya. This is unbelieavable!!!!!! I am so happy and so proud of these guys!!!!!! I have never been so proud to be Kenyan!!

This is total domination, stamping our feet and beating our chest for the whole world to see!!! We are the best!!!!! We are the champions!!!!!! We are number 2 again, ahead of Russia and they have no way of catching up!!!!

Over to you Eliud Kipchoge, Isaiah Koech and Thomas Longosiwa, watch out for that British Wariah, Mo Farah. He will try and snatch what is rightfully ours but don't let him. Bring that 5000 metre Gold Medal home where it belongs.

Another gold, another silver, sadly, no clean sweep in men's marathon. Great stuff, awesome!!! Over to 800m W and 5000m M. We've already bettered the medal haul of 2009. Najivunia kuwa Mkenya.

Just watched the marathon medal ceremony - our anthem hardly sounded better. Even the commentators can't but keep piling praise on Kenya. Even if Russia pip us (am watching the women's hammer) to No 2 overall, this has been a phenomenal performance by our girls n boys.

The kind of praises Bolt is receiving from the British media would make you think he is one of them....Bure kabisa....and not a word for the awesome performance of Kenyan athletes......huh!.Dining up there with the big boys even if we know they run on drugs.I think we should lend the Brits a couple of medals,then go reclaim them in their backyard in 2012....MUGS!!.

Am more iritated by Dstv who have given Kenya a blackout.
I have missed most of the races and was hoping to see highlights on the highlight channel. But non has been show. They are only showing SA athletes.
Maybe its an SA network, but marketing wise I thought they should have featured all African medalist.

@Safariant,
They must be ashamed of showing off athletes running on steel springs and men participating in women races by invoking hyperandrogenism.....Bure kabisa!

This is wht happens when we let 'others' show the games to us. if we had strong media companies we would have gotten the rights and proudly showed our athletes in Daegu in HighDef.

And also deduct one gold from England and give it to Somalia.....The Brit media won't stop now but if that is their hope they need feel sorry.Why?....In Britain,a sucker is born every day.In Kenya,a middle distance runner is born every daysmile (Wish i could get to BBC sports analyst Fordyce and smack him right across the face for refering to the evergreen beautiful hills of North Rift as "Kenyan rugged mountains"....Sad MUG!)
