The thrashing is timely. Wenger has like 72 hours to jump onto the market. He has no any other option.

Sadly, no player in his right mind will agree to come to Arsenal now after such a big loss from Man Utd. Arsenal this season are just hopeless! d'oh!

Are you really sober? Arsenal scoring will not be a big surprise to me given the fact that De Gea has not settled yet but scoring enough goals to win? That will not happen!!! Even @TAZ knows this. Wenger's first priority should be to avoid humiliation. A 4 - 1 score [In favour of Man United of course] will not go down well with Arsenal supports.

@Maich, on your 4-1 prediction, Man U waliimba ile song ya My God is Good Oh - Everything is Double Double. 8-2 pewa!Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

@ Jguru, If Wenger wants to sign he can get any player. Liverpool signed top players like Suarez when the club was suffering same thing happened to Man City. Arsenal are still in the CL and thats enough to attract any player. So many players have expressed their desire to play for Arsenal lakini Wenger is too proud to admit the team is weak. What we need is to strengthen our defense, that should be the priority. Even at this sad time i must admit that i was impressed by Coquelin's performance....thats one for the future, we actually collapsed after he was replaced.

Just in case you did not know, that was Arsenal's worst loss since 1896! No Arsenal fan alive has ever experienced such a kichapo. Expect a couple of sad stories - Arsenal fans commiting suicide. I hope all wazuans have put all their friends who support Arsenal on suicide watch.

I would eight to be an Arsenal fan right now!

Dedication to all Arsenal fans.

Someone one said that the game reminded him of the "Swaggerific concert". Bend Over! Any Arsenal fan who did not get a chance to have the song played for him/her yesterday at a club near them can search for the song on youtube to remind themselves of what went down.

Arsenal fell like a stack of dominoes, but with 8 1st team players missing, it was entirely expected. But then again the team must be strengthened with quality and experienced players to complement with the young boys. I am not too quick to jusge the team till after 31st transfer deadline.

By the way, man u ought not to read too much into this game, the opponents were simply non-existent.

City seem quite a handful, only time will tell.

Arsene should look for the womens team for consolation when they've won the super league.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sp...i/football/14702927.stm

But this time am sure he has to sort out the issue of defence albeit reluctantly as he wont to do.THE HUMILIATION was well timed.

I fear at this rate even kids will hold a demo if the Arsenal team is brought to the cartoon network.

And should they read anything into the 3 - 0 win against Tottenham? Should they read anything into the 3 - 2 win against the Man City you speak of having been 2 - 0 down at half time? Just curious!

@ Marty....We are only getting the stick because its Arsenal and our manager is Arsene Wenger. No one has said a word about Spurs performance so far. Anyway thats 3 out of 38 games so we will regroup after the international break. Hopefully we will get a new centre back before then. Jenkinson, Djourou, Koscielny and Traore....you are all a disgrace, Man Utd didn't even have to work hard for anything. Szszeny is a quality keeper but there is nothing you can do with that sort of defense, i really felt sorry for him.

The two defeats against Liverpool and Man Utd were what we needed to wake the club management. Lucky for us unlike kila wakati its just the start and not towards the end so we have time to redeem ourselves.

The only 8 problems the Arsenal had were the balls at the back of the net. Stop with the excuses, even Man U had first team players missing and the Arsenal players who played were either 1st team or 2nd team not some 3rd or 4th team squad players.

Seriously? Which other team was given an 8 - 2 beating in the world of football this weekend - Any league in the world! I personally don't know any.

@ Elder....Why don't you just shift to City, if you only support the team when its winning then you don't deserve to be a fan.

"Even as the scoreline resembled a tennis score and then worse, bringing Arsenal’s heaviest defeat since 1896 and Loughborough Town, the away fans kept up their chant about “we love you Arsenal, we do”. Now that's what i call support. They never stopped singing mpaka the end

"Arsenal started with Francis Coquelin and Armand Traoré and had players like the Dutch Under-17 midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup and the French Under-20 Gilles Sunu on the bench. United had Dimitar Berbatov, Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs in reserve." Thats the difference between Arsenal and Man Utd.

The second Rooney free kick was the most annoying, why do you have a wall if no one is going to jump. Szszeny didn't expect that ball to get past the Arsenal players....ABK!

I've always been a Wenger fan but 8-2 is unacceptable proffessor. He got his tactics all wrong. The team was severly depleted going into yesterdays game, there was no way we would have won the match by playing an open game. Playing with a high line in defense (especially without Vermaelen) was asking for trouble. The easiest thing would have been to sit deep, man mark and counter attack. Surely Walcott would have been able to take Evans one on one. Umetuangusha profesa.

Kichapo cha dawg.Saw it coming and i am actually not sad for Wenger, but for Arsenal fans who kept faith in this idiot even when all was so clear......Sadly,and i believe so,In September,we might only get a point or 3 from Swansea....The rest is more kichapo.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

@TAZ I am an Arsenal fan and not an Arsene fan. Won't move to City or whichever club - shall follow them into the dark. That does not stop me from being objective. We were shite and the excuse of missing players should not cut at anymore. Had 3 months to address our issue and Arsene and the Board left it late to sell two of the club's top players and then been buying kids and sniffing around for bargain signings. Everyone but Arsene saw this coming and he still does not want to admit that the squad is shite. I think he has gone mad on us!

This ARTICLE sums it up for me.
