for the past 10 years theyv'e only been able to Launch a very unpopular Product The 'Vision account'..that advertises a teen Outgrowing his Pants..

Two things pain me


This Bank has never Recapitalized the 20 billion that was securitized by the Gvnt..its like a 50/50 deal that could see the Gvnt Dishonour the Bonds..
The Bulk of its profits is realized from a Interest earned from the Investment in the Bonds..this is a 'Laid Back' position and portrays lack of drive to generate more revenues from the conventional streams of banking..while other banks like Family Bank,equity,Cosolidated etc are digging deeper .what happens when this income goes down and eventually Fades out??..Marammbii is on record saying that he has no Idea of what he can do with 20 billion..

Marambi was brought in to 'clean' up NBK. Which he has done. He has negotiated with GoK as regards many of the political loans. ____*GoK offered NBK bonds in exchange for the debt/loans. NBK accepted these BUT cannot sell on the open market (immediately) as part of the deal. So u cant blame NBK since they are FORCED to keep these bonds.
