Read that in the Star. Anybody with any further information? They claim they have exclusive rights to show two main matches on Saturdays etc.

I wish they get real sponsors this time who will sustain the airing of the matches.Hope they become the envy of other TV broadcasters.

That is a great start. Hope they move of from there to get more matches and provide real competition to DSTV or demolish it all together.

Radull works for both Radio Africa [which owns Kiss TV] and DSTV. I'm not sure if this is competition or cooperation. If I'm not wrong, there was an arrangement some time back whereby GTV were having one game broadcast by NTV every week. This is meant to work as a free sample and entice more people to EPL after which they will want the whole array of matches which means subscription [In this case to DSTV]. When they start showing the Swansea - Fulham game instead of the Man U - Man City game then the new recruits will have no option but get DSTV!

@ Elder.....I don't think Kiss TV has the money to compete with Multi-Choice on EPL TV rights. The English premiership is tiered into three packages: One with 80% of the matches (which obviously everyone wants to get), Two with 20% and another with about 10% which has been offered to free-to-air channels. DSTV secured package one and two years ago and the also recently regained the Nigerian market back from HiTV. Kiss and other TV stations have the 10% which translates to one free match every weekend. KBC used to have this but they stopped broadcasting. Sasa hata kama hatuna broadcasting rights za KPL (our local league) how will we get EPL.
