Rank: Veteran Joined: 6/17/2009 Posts: 1,627		I thought the index quoted by @the deal is of his own creation as per the first post on this thread.And it is what he is pointing at closing higher at 77.12.The NSE All share index closed yesterday at 78.63.

Rank: Elder Joined: 9/25/2009 Posts: 4,534 Location: Windhoek/Nairobbery		Well @Cnn when I created that index I told pple what it was...how it works...its purpose...how I came up with the divisor...the divisor is on the website...the Nairobi20 index can NOT be the All share index...note the difference in the 2 words...also look at the make up of the 2 index's and then criticise from there.

Rank: Member Joined: 6/21/2010 Posts: 514 Location: Nairobi		How do you consider price fluctuations due to very small share transaction e.g. a 10% drop in safcom's price due to 1000 shares transacted & you are yet to tell us your base divisor period as some shares have already undergone splits & some bonus issues. Please don't put yourself on a pedestal let others do that on your behalf coz one is as good as the reality they bring forth & not on the existing info.....
