I am just glad the watchie belongs to a security firm all they need to do is pursue this and get the thugs charged.
Say you are a cop, then utupwe ndani only to find the people you harassed in there to and they happen to recognize you....

Do you think Kenyans are ready to be told such truths? Naaah we are busy being melodramatic over every other media headline and related side shows.

The kid who was a student leader at Meru university is being buried today. He was born in 1995. The pathologist report said he was shot with a pistol from a close range. The cop who did it is yet to be arrested.

At the risk of seeming to dance on his fresh grave, I have just watched a video of the young man during the time cops entered UoN and clobbered innocent students inside their classes and halls of residence. His exact words were, "Before we condemn the police, we should first condemn fellow students for engaging in unlawful activities".

Can't think of a better epitaph for this young kid's tombstone than this;

"An appeaser is the one who feeds the crocodile hoping it will eat him last"

You are not dancing on his grave, you are just quoting him. He was engaging in unlawful activity and he supports the consequences.

There are 3 groups in this story

Group 1 is the cop who enjoys shooting people because a wazuan has used a clapping smillie. He forgets Katitu yuko ndaani ndaaaani ndaaaani.

Group 2 is the guy who supports cops killing citizens simply because he thinks only jaruos are shot...Let the young man rest in peace as the Kalenjin cop is moved to another town

Group 3 are the cheerleaders. Those ones are going to hell. Ask Mukiri. When you support, encourage someone to do an evil deed, you too are evil. Hell is beckoning.

Why all this hate against your own people? You are "celebrating" because he was okuyo. Would you be saying the same things if the student was joluo?

A student leader is shot in the head at point blank range and instead of sending condolences you blame him for his death even highlighting in red to justify his killing? What kind of mental illness is this?

@hardwood, where is celebration from the above posts?

Again and again you keep this misconception if I amd from tribe x, and if I see something going wrong in my tribe, I should not condemn because I will be seen to be against my own people?

This is the same trend we have seen in you that if I see the govt doing something wrong, I keep quiet and I don't condemn becoz I'll labelled as opposition supporter...

What kind of silly thinking is that?

NB: condolences to family and friends.

I was trying to figure out "your own people" then I realised it is hardwood.

His life is for or against "his own people". If you don't shape an argument as "these people" vs "his own people", it ain't an argument.

Hardwood, we are discussing police shooting people at their own whim.

We also have a quote from the person who was shot supporting police beating up people because it's a peace loving gesture.

My input in the topic was to suggest that those who support policemen shooting people like target practice because its cool, usually end up being shot themselves.

His statement shows that he disagreed with my view.

But HE WAS SHOT ANYWAY.

@alma, we agreed we need to allow @hardwood feed his family. During the UoN incident, his own cousin, a fresher, was clobbered proper inside the school of architecture. For a while I thought @hardwood had finally realized speaking against police brutality is not as treasonous as Kameme makes it to be.

Unfortunately, he got his promotion from Itumbi and things got worse.
