Is it true that Thika Road will be a toll Road?
See the following link http://thikaroad.blogspot.com/

If truly Thika road will be toll road - How would toll charges affect real estate developments along the road?

Few days ago from Drive - in - cinema to former G.S.U. round about they opened the patch. I found that road is not smooth. My car get jerks on that road and i found that final levels are not ok. (my car is ok on other roads)

I dont think they are fully done with those roads yet.. Im told their could be one more top layer.
It could be true cos the stretch from Safaripark to allsops.. if left as is right now would be flooding quite often.. The road needs to be raised above those tu-drainage holes (or whatever Civil Engineers call them)

The Toll station & Weigh bridge will be located just after the Kimbo overpass on your way to Thika, just next Ruiru Golf Club.

Now, now, now...For those coming from Nyeri, Embu, Meru, Nanyuki, Thika, Garissa, Isiolo e. t.c and cannot afford to pay the toll charges does it mean that will be locked out from doing business in Nairobi given that Thika road is the only way to access the city from these areas?
I may be wrong but toll roads the world over usually have adjacent toll free roads that road users can opt for just in case they can't afford the toll charges or just feel like not paying the toll. Thika road has no alternatives if you are coming from the above areas.
It is a curious fact that of all the illusions that beset mankind, none is quite as curious as that tendency to suppose that we are mentally and morally superior to those who differ from us in opinion.
