The thing I love about SAF is that he won't hesitate to put Lindergaard in if we start losing games because of De Gea's mistakes...clearly the guy needs to practice on how to get down quickly on low shots coz that is where he's struggling yet can make amazing saves throughout the game.I look forward to when he starts getting clean sheets because for now, any clever opponent can see our weak link - long range low drives!

That said, that was a good start to the away campaign - I hope we can grind out those away results and maintain last season's away form, sure recipe for No.20.

Rio & Vidic out for 6 and a couple of weeks respectively but boy oh boy have I never been happier to see Smalling, Jones and (still surprised am saying this) Johnny Evans stepping up...the only reason we lost the title by 1 point in 2009/2010 was because of the long absence of both of those players and that is why am happy to see our over reliance on them come to a halt! @Taz, that is why you need 2 defenders, depth in the form of an able replacement for each player. What happens if Woscie/Vermalen/Wilshere gets injured? Depth ni muhimu and we've got it...all we need is another playmaker to reduce over reliance on Rooney in making plays from the 2nd half of the pitch.

The talking point of Arsenals game should have been Gervinho's sending off, not the draw - even Reds and Chelsea drew. If I was Gervinho I would have punched Barton, not even slapped him, just to give him a proper reason for staying down.

@ Smano...I really don't know what Barton was thinking but what shocked me more is he only got away with a yellow card.

Wenger has no choice but to spend before the transfer window closes. Our midfield needs a playmaker, Wilshere is still out through injury while Gervinho is expected to miss the next three games. I never thought i'd say this but if Wenger doesn't bring in experienced players before end of this month then he has to go. We cannot afford to lose two of our best midfield players without bringing in replacements.

I felt equal pity for Man U.They signed a keeper(a clown)with a big weakness which will be exploited by many a player.While De Gea is okay in the air,he is poor in judgement (i.e doesn't know when to come off line),but his biggest weaknesses are ground balls and diving on the left....fodder for strikers.
