http://www.safaricom.com/bundles/
This site is great for activating data bundles but I have been unable to access it often. It's otherwise very good for purchasing and activating data bundles for tablets such as iPads and also for modems. Thus one doesn't have to first put simcard in a phone, purchase and activate bundle then transfer sim to iPad. For modems there are options but for iPads the only option is the long route of doing the phone thing first which is quite troublesome trying to ensure the iPad's microsim sits in properly.
If Safaricom people are reading this, please check what the problem is as there are a number of times it simply says it cannot recognise the number of the device one is using (modem, galaxy tab iPad etc) yet it is the same device and number one has used to successfully access the site previously.
Does anyone know of any other method of purchasing and activating data bundles for tablets?

@Mpenzi,
I usually buy bundles for use on my phone by dialing - star 200 hash - and following the prompts thereafter. One of the prompts requires one to make the choice of buying bundles for this or another number and am thinking this should work for your case?
