I just saw the stories and pictures relating to the demise of the Railas' house help. Now, not meaning to be cold and indifferent to death, but looking at the pictures of a convoy escorting the deceased to the morgue, I just have to wonder to what extent state resources should be used?
Yes, its the PM and its his staff...but would not a hearse have sufficed? Why all the fan fare?
It reminds me of how, after Kijana Wamalwa's death, the state intervened to pay for his forty something million shilling house.
Lets give the dead their final respects, but at the same time remember the living who could benefit from these resources (or the money and time used).
