@Maichblak.....Hata na mashida zetu there's no way L'fool will beat us. I've been following them since May and believe me nothing much has changed. Daglish will be their downfall, the guy wants the team to have british born players from back to front. Gerrard has already been ruled out till September, Aquilani is still not settled while players like Jovanovic and Lucas are not comfortable with Daglish plans in the middle. At the back same story, they need a replacement for Carrager.

Enyewe if Wenger doesn't sign players before close of the transfer window closes then mambo itakuwa noma, we now can't even win our own Emirates Cup.

That match reminded me of the match where newcastle was gunned 4-nil after which i left only to be told that the match ended a draw.
I always pitty arsenal fans.

If Arsenal buy around 2 more central defenders, then I see them retaining the top 4 CL spot...but for now I will have to go with @Marex's list...and this time I don't think the gap will be as many as the 9 points we saw last season, more nail biting for all of us

Seconded! This time round you make a mistake and you are done. I don't think there will be second chances this time round. Every team has an agenda. I'm sure in the boardroom of like four-five teams, the message is "We want EPL title THIS season".

Man U - No two ways about it, gotta win, gotta win; Chelsea - Abramovich has no patience. Some people are of the opinion that the only way Andre Villa Boaz will keep his job is by winning the CL. Huge target! If he ends the season without silverware, he is out of the door for sure unless someone talks to Abramovich; Man Shitty and Liverfools have spent good money. They want results NOW. Liverfools also have this dream of winning their 19th title before Man U wins the 20th. Good luck to them; Arsenal always sets out to win trophies - it's only that they don't. They will definitely buy some new players. If and when that happens, they will want results. I don't think they will be buying with an aim of retaining their usual fourth place; Redknapp is an ambitious man. I'm sure in his mind, the worst case scenario should be finishing in the top four and qualifying for CL - a tournament they really enjoyed this past season. Let the games begin!!!

Good news though, I have a feeling Man U will have a strong start this time round.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

The LEAST i expect from Arsenal (Whether we buy or not)is a 3rd place finish. Wenger has rotated the squad in all our pre-season matches and its quite clear we need to add at the back. We need someone reliable to partner Vermaelen...maybe Samba or Cahill but not Jagielka. At the middle Cesc is definitely leaving, hope we land Mata as is expected.

I still don't think L'pool will be a threat, they've been very busy in the transfer market but Downing, Adam and Henderson are not really what you'd call top class players although they've got good players in Suarez and Meireles. For the past 3 or so seasons they've proven to be the most inconsistent team in the league....at some point in the season they just disappear totally.

Man City will be the team to beat next season especially IF they retain Tevez. Last night they dismantled Inter Milan in a friendly.

Chelsea are not the same team they used to be 3 years ago, most of their players are at the retirement stage but the problem is that they don't want to leave the club (high wages). Milan, Inter and Juventus have all been in a similar position before. They'll probably need to sell some of these players to create room for the likes of Sturridge, Kalou and Josh McEachran. Problem is Abramovich wants the team to be selected based on what they earn at the club.

It will be another unpredictable season especially due to the fact that most of the players are fully rested unlike last season when we had World Cup in June.
