Remember they supply Tesco and marks & spencer with fresh vegetables, some fruits and flowers. They also sell flowers at the auction. Then they sell tea. They have farms in kericho, nandi, naivasha, timau etc for all these things. they also buy tea in kericho from wananchi and some vegetables.

They are a very big company if you didn't know. And by the way this amount excludes the massive amounts of tea they at the auction on behalf of their parent.

The Finlays Group has a turnover of £611m, with 39,000 employees. As an agri-business, it has operations in many countries and is well known across the tea and horticulture industries.

and thats worldwide, not Kenya.

I havent researched the figures, but those quoted here about Finlays dont make sense at all. Unless they are in the business of throwing away money; how much profits do they post from those revenues? We could be talking more about it here in Wazua

What is the relevance of largest on turnover? You can be making 100bn but a profit of 2bn. This is the model for most supermarkets...

I dint know that Finlays was that massive. if their turnover is £1billion or 5.5% of GDP, then they deserve a cabinet post.... not a seat in CBK
