I disagree one does not brand a product but an experience and this is readily available in Kenya.
@Xtina
Please erase your statement before someone sees it...meanwhile am trying to pull out stats that were published that show the effect of that add alone in regards to toursim numbers.
I strongly believe we need to Brand Kenya the world over not as a destination as many people would like to think...and most importantly at this time. Its is no surprise my colleagues still think Kenya is not safe as seen on the the world media in early last year..or how else did guys know we were butchering each other..we just need to use the same platforms and the results will be immediate..
Our problems are not unique to us..countries that have had soaring toursim numbers and have issues to the core as well,Egypt and South Africa..SA politicians have kulad the cash for developing a railway metro in readiness for world cup...and now you don not want to know the peples feelings regarding Zuma. Egypt same story ..they were to develop a railway system and were even given money by EU to buy the coaches from Germany,whi ch the politicains decided is too expensive and decided to source them from China..they were given cash for 5 coaches one was bought and came with chinese manuals and it stalled after 1 month...so moral of story all our stories are more or less the same.but others react differently to their situations..
