A 40% increase in pre-tax profit is needed to upstage Equity Bank, which today announced a PBT of 5.9 Billion

Will they pull it off?

I don't see them beating EBL. 40-45% growth utmost. If they post growth that is more than this then most definately they'll be the bank to watch but as for now EBL is the bank to watch.

My heart skipped a beat when i read this because i thought of EABL. Please guys let us use EB to refer to equity bank.
I am seeing KCB pull a higher PBT than EB but in terms of % jump it may be lower.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'
