... Having satisfied the the university for the award.......I graduated in December 2008. We were actually told to collect our certificates within a certain time frame. But I did not take this seriously. Two weeks ago,I went to collect my certificate. I was asked to pay a storage of Ksh 1000. Besides this I had to go back and forth to get this or that document. Advice: If you intend to collect your ceritificate any time soon,pack all the documents you were ever given while in that university in a gunia and pour them before the receptionist for her to pick what she wants. Otherwise you will spend two days moving back and forth before you get this paper. But my question is,Is that fee justified? Where does all this money go?

Being a parallel MA student I was forced to pay;

Ksh 5000- Medical fee ( Ihad my own cover and the varsity would hear nothing about this)

Ksh 5000 - Medical cover (second year)

Ksh 2000 - Activity fee ( Lessons used to start at 5.00 Pm and end at 8.00 pm. No time to participate in anything)

Ksh 1000 - Computer ( During the two years no computer was provided to any student)

I do not know what else I have forgotten,but Ksh 13,000 free money per parallel student is such a crazy sum of money. Isn't this daylight robbery without violence. What is the diffrence between this university and syndicated thieves?
