This stuff of transfers is best done undercover - look at the Tevez Corinthians link, now the latter have admitted they simply don't have enough funds and mettle to complete the deal by today midnight, deadline for Brazilian transfer window.

Apparently even Gibson (the banker/farmer who plays for Man Utd) was included in a Wes Brown and O'Shea triple bid by Sunderland only for Sunderland to renege on wage agreement and Gibson to be left stranded at UK as Man Utd went for US tour! While I feel for the fellow, I hope nto never see him in a Man Utd jersey again.

Then there was all this talk of Sneijder coming over - it had me going there for a while. All am saying is transfer talks are nothing until you see the player holding the jersey for your team so let's wait for the window to close...am sure Arsenal will add one or two more players

Tervez sasa analilia kwa choo. He had seen redemption by the good package and being close home. Now all these dreams have been shattered.
As it stands even hull city can sign him as a goalkeeper because he is now frustratated staying at man city.

@ Jus Blazin.....Barca didn't even have to sign anyone but i don't think they'll mind having both Sanchez and Cesc. The biggest advantage they've got is that none of their players wants to leave.....sasa unatoka ukienda wapi?

Barcelona's indulgance in the transfer window is just as a formality.

They will sell. They must. They are in debt and also can't afford the wage bill as it is. They need to balance their books.

Cesc might be in an Arsenal shirt next season. His negotiations are becoming murkier by the day.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

This barca thing and cesc is just wasting the time.... Wenger put him on sale and am sure mancity will give $80m on table and then you can use 60m on buying whichever other players you want and the team will be more stable as barca will continue to unstable him at mancity
Life is an endless adventure

As we head into the last week we should be ready fo real surprised that are always pulled during the last minute. I mean the fabregas-type of transfers that leave us baffle. Remember the robinho, torress n the like.

Not quite. Transfer window in europe closes on 31st August. Yes, 31st August after the various leagues have kicked-off.

Balotelli continues to do what he does best, bloop in the field. As Arsenal's new signing and wonderkid dazzles with a wonder goal

For Balotelli it has nothing to do with Shitty. Ni bhangi ya zamani!

The fellow was abandoned by his parents because they could not afford another kid and was adopted by an Italian couple. Given the neighbourhood he was living in, he experienced racism from an early age - not to mention the reality of being abandoned by his own parents. His parents were to later look for him but he disowned them and said he wants nothing to do with them. He went to the extent of changing his name to that of his adopted parents - Balotelli! All this has made him one a very angry human being. While some people have internal systems to deal with such anger, he seems to have none. That, or he wants to remain angry. The "I'm happy with my anger attitude".

Roberto Mancini is even on record encouraging him to smile once in a while. The fellow score's a goal and from the look in his face you might think he has just been denied a clear penalty. There is a time he smiled after the scoring and the picture/clip was all over the press!!!

Fame and money has also added fuel to the fire. There was a time he was pulled over by the police with £50,000/= in cash (approx. Kshs. 7m) and when asked why he was carrying such a huge amount of money his simple answer was "Because I'm rich!!!".

There's talk all over (transfers) that Juan Mata is expected to complete a move to Arsenal soon but the deal is tied to Cesc's move to Barca. If this happens then that would be one of the best signings Wenger has made in along time. Nasri can play in central midfield with Mata/Arshavin in left midfield. Gervinho and RVP at the front is good enough for me, at the back we already have Vermaelen fully fit what we need is another strong defender. We'll either get Samba or Cahill but i'd prefer the Blackburn player.....Cahill might just be another overrated English player.

If Nasri gives us one good season then no one would mind losing him for free at the end of the season. The club can get the 20m pounds elsewhere (from CL qualification) and will expect to sell Cesc (35m) ,Bendtner (8M) & Eboue (4m)
