I suspect it can do worse. Sub 30.

@Sober, it looks like you may just get your wish. I bought this counter at 40 last week, thinking I had got myself a bargain. Now between the two of us, it appears to be quite clear, who's smarter now ! This is one hell of a job Keep up the good work. I noticed a discrepancy In your 2010 ROA statement and a 2010 CBK statement in which it states the ROA as follows. KCB ROA = 5.17% Equity ROA = 6.95 When I calculate it,I come to the same conclusion as you, what would be causing this discrepancy given that NIC 2010 ROA is not affected. '......to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.' Colossians 2:2-3

Sub 30. i will not boast of that. i was just selling to get funds for the bank de kigali IPO, i didnt base on fundamentals. and now as it stands i am thinking of picking the stock again because of the risk of being refunded a lot of money in the Rwandese bourse. Maybe folks at CBK have different numbers or maybe they were calculating adjusted ROA I.e remove non perfoming assets from Total assets

The 10 page report is free to members of http://contrarianinvestingkenya.info. All you need to do is register. I just sold al my NIC bank shares at a low price of 42 (or so i thought) and i will be timing then in the 32-35 region probably before the year ends. Do not buy now but wait for the sub 35 price Possible. A strong bank whose price swings back and forth because of it small size and very low dividend policy. Life is short. Live passionately.
