The Civil Society in the form of Mwalimu Mati and his Mars Group and Cyprian Nyamwamu and his Willy Mutunga formed National Convention Executive Council (NCEC) have fronted Paul Muite as their presidential candidate.

In a meeting currently in progress at Ufungamano, Mwalimu Mati has been elected as the party Chairman whereas Cyprian Nyamwamu has been elected as the party's Secretary General.

Instead of calling the party 'Mars Group Party (MGP)' they decided to stick to Muite's Safina name.

It is now clear that civil society groups such as Mars Group never had the interests of Wanjiku at heart when they went about raising their voices against the government but rather were plotting to go for the reins of power.

If you had read the post slowly you would have realised that I said it is going on right now. Publishing will be after the meeting ends.

Muite and Mati's true colors have finally appeared. Funny that their names 'Muite' and 'Mati' have the letters 'm', 't' and 'i' in common.
I guess birds of a feather....

a discussion on sonko amongst other owls (group of owls is called a parliament)was effectively ended thus..

Stop hating on sonko.. u put him there...and so is whatever clown u voted for.

I believe the same views apply similarly to whichever presidential candidate is out there. hata the dude of finger of God..

when all is said and done.. we deserve whichever clown we clamor for.

Just another "Waweru Ng'ethe", i don't think he'll worry any of the top contenders. The guy couldn't even convince his constituents to vote for him in 2007 how the hell will he manage to get anything countrywide.

noticed also ..muite thrives on the annual memorial of the standard-lucy-atur-snake rattler episode.

probable mwaita chaacha, meli and some standard fellows will vote for him. being preferred lawyer and all.

Next year's political news coverage will be more hilarious than comedies.
