That article though new is sooooooooo outdated. The construction started about 9 months ago. It has stalled in the last 3 months; with only about 4 plastic water tanks being the only additions on the project. This project cannot be completed by December 2011; even if it was handed over to the Chinese. And mind you it is being done by a Kenyan contractor! Even the land where the 2000 cars are supposed to be parked is not purchased yet; the actual train boarding area should be across the road, same side as airport side so that phase 2 will connect the airport to the railway line. Then there should be a pedestrial flyover from the parking (same site as terminal building) to the railway track (across the road). None of this has started. Unless the design was changed and the change never publicised, there is NO way this project will be complete by Dec, just 6 months away. So that article is largely outdated and erroneous in the extreme.
