It was sad to see the exit of Egerton University from this year's Zain Africa university challenge. For the university to win for two consecutive years in a competeion that put each and everything to test is no small achievement. This being my favourite program so far,I noticed afew flaws made by the participants that they should avoid in future. The university lost because the leader assumed a 'know it all'. In the 'quick fire' segment, anything he did not know,it was pass without listening to his colleagues to see if they knew the answer. I am sure the coach must have reiterated the importance of team work. It was not there...

...but that Nigerian babe!!! ... brains + beauty=Woman...

@ Magigi,

The duel was one tough one. Both UoL and Egerton had all it takes to win the compe. But the Egerton loss towards the end was due to slowness. Like in the suddent death, speed is what gave it to the Nigerians.

However,if in deed the teams face each other directly,it is possible that the view of that Nigerian beauty contributed to the slowness. She is brainy, witty even and yes beautiful...and there is more from where she comes.

Hope the finals will feature KU and UoL! seems likely

@wally5;

You should have voiced those sentiments BEFORE entering the competition! And if you felt very strongly against the Ultimate Challenge, you should not have participated.

Now you sound like just another sour loser.....'let's change the rules of the game so that I can win'

i clearly knew UoL was tough when the first time i heard the Nigerian chick answer a question that was simply 'one gross?' i mean who knows that 144 is actually 'one gross' in the duodecimal numbering system. hats off, even from me an Egerton alumni.

No photo but I could describe her.

She's 22. I guess she's not made up from what I been seeing. I mean she's easy on makeup.

Complete lips, light skinned, gracious forehead,prody-sexy eyes and a hairstyle that speaks who she is.

I was quick enough to pick her out as they walked in. The caption is about 1 second. The engineering behind is magnificient.

My prediction is that the final will be between uol and ibadan university both from nigeria. The latter also has some great eye candy in the form of a tall, very sharp bespectabled and medium toned skin nigerian dude

this prog is great..way better than the whos smarter now and the likes

On to the matter at hand, these two would have been the best finalists. the tie in the 3-rounds and also after the ultimate challenge shows this.

i witnessed 'resilience' being driven by that egerton dude. too bad they lost, but with their heads up. kudos Egerton, though Lagos were worthy winners. all the best!

be happy!

KU are my favourite team thus far. However that tall dark dude needs to work better with his team mates if they are to win this competition
